Vantour 2009 has now been and gone so it's time to start thinking about Vantour 2010!

What's It All About?

So, here's the skinny. Vantour is a 3 month long hire of a Wicked Camper van for you and your mates to go traveling around Europe in style and comfort at a low low price. This year the prices we are offering are:

2 Seater Vans: £2800

5 Seater Vans: £3000

We ask for a 10% deposit on booking and the remaining 90% is due by 1/5/10.

Who Can Go and What do we do?

Anyone can go! The price shown above includes driving insurance for up to 3 persons who are 23 or older. Obviously the 2 seater van is just for 2 persons, so this includes 2 drivers 23+. But don't fear! If you have drivers who are 21 or 22 they can also be included but this will be an additional £100 per driver of this age. Also, if you are taking a 5 seater van and want to have more than 3 drivers this is also possible, but will cost an extra £300 per additional driver.

There are only 2 events that we require you to come to as part of the Vantour special price deal. These are Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain and Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. We also require you to stay with us at our Running of the Bulls campsite for a minimum of 3 nights. At Oktoberfest you can stay where you like! The prices have not been released as yet for the Pamplona camping however, based on last years costs, this will likely be around €45 per person per night. These camping costs will be due by 1/3/10.

So, aside from Oktoberfest and the Bulls, you are free to go cruising around Europe for the rest of the 90 day hire period. There are certain places where alot of vans go during the summer like Lagos in Portugal and other festivals/events in Europe like La Tomatina in Spain. We encourage you to visit as many countries as possible and would ask that you go to at least 15 countries as part of the deal.  Have a read of previous customers blogs on our Vantour Blog page to see where they went and other tips!

When do we go?

All vans will have to be picked up from our London depot on either the 30th June or the 1st/2nd of July. They will then be due back to our London depot 90 calendar days later.

Are there any other conditions?

The only other thing we ask of you as a 2010 official Vantourer is that you tell us about your Wicked roadtrip when you get back! We ask for this as a story/blog of around 1000 words plus some photos and/or a video of your trip. Not really too much to ask as a normal Wicked hire of this length at this time of year would cost in excess of £4000!

I want to come! How do I book my van?

It's easy! Just click on 'bookings & quotes' in the left hand menu and put in your potential dates and info there. It will give you our ordinary prices here but if you want to book a van simply write either 'Early bird Vantour' or 'Non-early vantour' in the 'notes/comments' section and we will adjust the price accordingly.

Vantour Cancellation Policy

If you cancel by 1 May 2010 you will lose the 10% deposit paid. If you cancel by the 1 June 2010 you will lose 50% of the total paid. Bookings cancelled after the 1 June 2010 will not receive a refund.
