- The Silk Mill formerly Derby Industrial Museum. Free admission. Railway and industrial innovations from the previous centuries are on display here. A large collection of Rolls-Royce aeroengines is displayed in the museum with displays regarding the history of the company.
- Pickfords House Free admission. House featuring recreated Georgian rooms. Well worth visiting, apparently.
- Derby Playhouse is the main theatre in Derby.
